Also when its Aidiladha again, other than remembering the islamic history, bukak kitab and read all about Nabi Ibrahim dan Nabi Ismail's sacrifices, I will always remember this date (30 december 2006 bersamaan Subuh 10 Zulhijjah 1427 Hijrah ) to be the day Saddam Hussein.. May Allah Bless his soul, was hanged. Totally despise the hanging especially insensitively done on an auspicious date, but..i guess he is peacefully laid now..and better to be out of this world than to be detained forever..

tak sia-sia complain....

As per my previous blog, bole complain tak?? ,I'm glad that MOE, the transport company as well as the school, has promptly replied to my complains. The Vice Principal himself, personally called me up on my mobile, ( though he did not introduce himself at first, i thought he was just any admin staff at school, his intro was just, " I'm calling from the school, bla, bla bla...and did u email about the transport price increase, bla bla bla.... Only then at the end of the conversation, when i asked, " so who am i speaking to..? " politely he replied, " This is Mr Sada...the Vice Principal..." how sweet...) Two days later, the Head Admin, Mdm Kalai called me up and arranged for a meet up. Impressive pomptnesss!! And yes, they reminded me, " please next time just go to us, and don't email the MOE..." haha and i apologised for that.

So what did they manage to agree upon?

The school had agreed to maintain my transport fees to as per normal, (that is $50 - no $5 increment), and my kids will be just one of the special cases..(haahaha...yang mak bapak rajin complain ar kan... )

On top of that, they gave me some other financial assistance that they could provide, without us to have to go through all the hassles.I heard from my friend, whose kids are schooling at the school just walking distance from my block, ( the school that i initially opted for but through balloting, i failed to get in, ) that the school requires my friend to produce family member's photostated ICs, Birth Certs, CPF Statements, Salary Letter, Declaration Letter....bla bla bla....And they have date dues..for submittions.I HATE DATE DUES!! As for me, all i need to do is to email and complain, and after that, its their business to wait for us to arrange the time and date ( Poor Mdm Kalai sacrificed her lunch time for us...thanks ya..! ) for the meet up to settle my case. All i need is a letter from the company to state the gross income.

This really made my day!! Tak sia-sia complain....

i know i am a complain queen. Ive written emails to the press, ive written emails to my kid's principal, ive scribbled a note to my son's teacher..i smsed....i've called...

..and baru tadi i just emailed the MOE, the school and the transport company for increasing the transport price. At least even if nothing could be done, i have highlighted my point of view and let off whatever that is in my chest. SO THAT THEY KNOW....

Last year when they increased it to $50 from the $45, i quite expect it due to the oil increase. But this year pon naik jugak $5? Diesel price has decreased, pon naik jugak eh?

And the school transport fee does not deserve an increment at all! Other than financial reasons, i find that the transportation company does not deserve that much of charge as the three years that i have been with the school bus transport has been less than satisfactory. The bus change the waiting port to a further block due to a reason that the bus is too big to enter. ( No shelter, inconvenience when it rains)

Secondly, the bus did not come on time. It is always late. But when it came early, the bus did not even wait for the students, but merely just leave. ( we pay the transport mind you! they should at least give a call or wait for at least 3 mins, is that too difficult to ask? Take note, we were not late, but the bus was early! )

There was even a time when we have to chase after the bus when he claimed he cant see us.(we waited under the block because it was drizzling) The assistant tu dalam bus jadi tiang bas ke? bodoh tak tau tengok belakang ade orang ke tak? dah hari2 ambil budak kat tu blok abeh tak tau nak tunggu? we pay okay!! So if kena tinggal bus mcm tu, must take taxi eh? memang la bole claim, but keselamatan budak2 tu ditinggalkan naik teksi? kalau we ikut naik teksi, dua kali jalan. tambang lebih. pagi2 ade charge lagi..then company nak bayar jugak ke?? silap2 they tot we jalan2 causeway point then mintak claim...

I hope the transport company, the school and the Ministry of Education will look into this matter and reply to us as soon as possible. If nothing could be done, i hope the MOE could make the necessary instructions or actions to put us to the school nearer to our premises, that we have been on the waiting list for three years.

When the IMF ( International Monetary Fund ) forecasts that the world's economy will be suffering its worst crisis in the year to come, I guess it will be a tough call for Mr Obama. With high expectations of him to break a change for the world, in such an economical state, to be a Mr Barack Hussein Obama, he must be someone really tough and dedicated. On top of that, he is more handsome than Mr Bush and Mc Cain pulak tu...

(somewhat in some angle, he looks like Dr Mohamed Maliki Osman...hmm...)

but that's besides THE POINT....

Why i am suddenly so politically inclined is cos, like everyone else, i want to see how he could rule the world differently in a democratic way.

Countries that used to 'despise' America, like Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan are already wanting and waiting for a miracle, which i find it stressing for him. And of course us Asians, would love to see more light. Other than economical crisis, we have food crisis, social crisis..macam-macam krisis....(step berpidato..angan-angan nak jadi President...like in the papers..IF MR OBAMA CAN BE PRESIDENT I CAN BE A PRIME MINISTER TOO..cet..!! angan-angan...dah dah, bangunlah dari daydream and jemur baju2 tu..

I've always been a fan of The Beatles, probably cos i grew up listening to "Help", "The Ballad Of John & Yoko ( you're gonna crucify me....LOVE DAT SONG!)", "Paperback Writer", "Yellow Submarine", "Hey Jude", "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds".....the list goes on...

But i really, really enjoyed Helter Skelter most cos that is the only song from The Beatles that i could scream my lungs out singing. or at least head bang when i'm feeling down. And i was thinking if i am feeling down and blue and i only have The Beatles collection in my crib, that is the song that cud cheer me up.( Kalau sedih2 takkan nak dengar lagu Hey Jude ke , Let It Be ke, Come Together or worst, Yesterday kan???? )

Here i enclosed the playlist from The Beatles as well as covers made by Pat Benatar ( I love a female rock version anytime, and Pat did it pretty awesome!) , Stereophonics ( the closest to the sound of The Beatles ), Motley Crue ( kick ass and purely a classic rock version) , Aerosmith ( of course, i couldn't resist Steve's Styler's 'kepit' shriek..Helter Skelteeeaaarr...Awww....!!! ) and a Japanese Band, Vow Wow ( i find this cover version uniquely has a different touch to it. Great and powerful vocal, with the Asian taste of pleasure.) Other covers made by well-liked bands like U2 and Oasis are a bit too moderate thus sounded too boring for my page.

As today is a special day for both of you, ibu wishes you both stay healthy, happy, brainy ( maybe as brainy and intelligent as Mr Lee Kwan Yew himself...hmmm.... Insyaallah, AMIN3x.... hehehehehe..)

I was looking through my sis' book/journal with important dates or events that happened in Singapore, macam buku history gitu la..Of course when i looked at 16th Sept for my two kids, tertera la date of birth Mr Mantan, Lee Kwan Yew. But when i flipped through to look at the date of my baby, Nashrullah's birthday, which is, 20th May 2007, i was quite surprised that he shared the same date as one of our Prime Minister too, Mr Goh Chok Tong (born May 20, 1941).....WHOA.... anak-anak aku mesti otak geliga, ada ciri-ciri bole jadi seorang pemimpin...

..but one thing for sure, I, the ibu of the three anak2 yang bakal jadi pemimpin, share the same date as the one and only, Mr Osama Bin Laden....Ooooohh...Yeaaaa...!!!

Finally today, 5th Ramadhan, 5th September on the 5th day of the week, Friday,i can renovate...

...my stomache!!

YEs.. a total renovation for a month. By now, it is known that fasting overhauls your body. A maintenance shutdown. Its now time to buang segala waste materials and accumulated toxins that are unavoidable in my system. Even if i take medicine or eat healthy food does not eliminate toxicity inside of me -- the fundamental cause of my health troubles. Instead, their residue remains and accumulates as extra toxins in my body.So its time to get rid of all my junks as of TODAY...YEaaaaAAyyyy..!!! Alhamdulillah...Its my first day to puasa!! Selamat berpuasa to me...

And its a good day too! Nombor pon cantik..555..nombor ganjil..and its on a Friday. ( and at this time..5.55pm!! ,WOOOHOOO!!!! i wanted to type this at 5.55 am though, but not convenient..so...)Hopefully, not only will i renovate the exterior of me, dari hujung ESOPHAGUS sampai ke hujung RECTUM, i will definitely do a thorough renovation of my interior as well. Barang2 lama harus dibuang..no sayang-sayang.buang terus! Will try to get rid of all the evil thoughts. Cleanse my evil mind and evil soul. Will the stained black dirt in my heart, to at least make it all white and clear again.

Wish me luck in my total renovation to guarantee a new me. Pray that it will be done smoothfully.Tak ada cacat cela.repainting, redesigning, remodelling, restoring...99% perfect! Time management will be my cost.

These few days I tend to get crappier than i usually am. Probably due to the recent many squabbles among close kins, anguish and maybe just due to lack of sleep. So since this crappy brain has gone a little bit out of hand, it triggered a crazy joke i once heard when i was a teen.

..and if its a joke among teens 'bawah blok' of course the crazy joke is conversed in malay....(a lil broken malay at that.. cause its translated by yours truly..)

Ada 3 orang gadis yang memang muke jambu but tak pernah bersyukur dengan ape yang ade. Ketiga2 mereka ni ada perwatakan yang berbeza. Si Ani sangat periang dan manja tapi ngada2. Ana kuat mengelamun, malas kerja. Anu suka bergaya tapi mulut laser, suka maki hamun. Bila duduk2 bawah blok main guitar, ada satu mamat handsome ni lalu kat depan. Muka 100% sebijik macam laki aku, Luke Perry.

Dia ckp kat the three girls," eh korang tak tau ke, ada satu gua ajaib kat depan tu. kalau masok gua tu korang cakap je nama artiste ke ape ke, yang korang suke.pendek kata, masok gua, ckp nama artis tu keluar confirm muke sama...gua tak bedek lu..." sambil tunjuk kan ic yang tertera muke dia yang original..
Ketiga2 minah jambu tapi tak tau bersyukur tu pon.."WOW...aku pon nak..!!" terus meluru kelam kabut line up kat luar gua tu.

Ani first la. Dia pon pikir dulu. hmm... ok nak muka ayu mcm Siti la..terus dia pon masok sambil "Siti Nurhaliza".. keluar muke dia pon ayu la..mcm kak Siti..

Mamat hensem tu tepok tangan." hoorey.!! berjaya! lawa2!!" memang ternyata jambu habis la dia tu, kena dgn perwatakan dia.

Ana lak try. Dia pon pejam mata sambil bayangkan muka dia macam Angelina Jolie. Sekuat2 hati dia pon pekik la nama tu bila masok gua tu. Berjaya jua. Mereka pon tepok tangan keriangan.

Anu punya turn. Dia pon tak sabar jugak, sambil terlonjak2 kat luar gua tu.Kerana terlalu ghairah waktu masok dia pon tersungkur dan tak sengaja dia pon maki, "CiiiiiiiBAI!!" kuat pulak tu...

Rakan2 nya dia luar terdiam.... semua tak pasti apa akan terjadi.

Bila dia keluar aje...semua terkedu. Speechless tak tau nak ckp ape.

Moral of the story, kalau nak melatah, elakkan mengguna kata2 kesat....huhuhu.............

Aku ter-record suara hantu ke???!!

I soooooooooo wanna blog about this 2 nights ago, cos i always blog after midnight.But i dun have the guts to do it so i have to blog this in broad daylight. Penakut katakan...

These few days, ( and nights ) i always have these disturbances. Its like there are poltergeists around the house.The best thing is, these 'gangguan' occured mostly in the daytime. And since, today i my kids are around the house, i can 'mengumpat' pasal 'hantu2' tu and get over and done with it.

That day around 2pm, i had a nap wif my baby ash. So when its time for me to get up, i just couldn't move myself up. its as though, something is pinning on me hard.
I could hear the background. I could hear Putri in the kitchen, taking something from the fridge. My eyes are wide open and i could see Ash beside me. My toes were wriggling weakly, trying to move my feet up. But i still couldn't move. When i tried to say some prayers, the ayat2 seemed to jumble up. And i finally managed to baca an ayat, which i can't remember what. I was automatically reciting those in my mind, as i strongly tried to push myself up. ( dat tym aku tido meniarap..) As i was doing dat, i felt the bed moved. I swear it moved!! Finally i sat up. Phew...berpeluh2..walaupon pada masa tu, kipas menala kat aku.

Putri came in and asked, " Ibu, apesal ade bunyik katil? " then i told her about what happend and she said she heard noises too. She thought she heard Zul playing with the chair but when she went to the room, Zul was asleep. Then she heard the bed and that was how she came into my room to know what was going on. Perhaps its just our imagination...

Ok... Lepas tu kan....

After performing the solat, i went to the hall to clean the house. And i heard, like budak2 main kejar. You know the flat footsteps yang kuat tu. But the sound were running towards me.

Aku maintain je. Then looked in the room to check my kids. Alamak...both dah sound asleep. Then i went back outside to continue wif what i was doin. This time the dribbling of marbles sound was exactly at the top of my head. Followed by a wheeling sound of my chair in my room. Aku maintain cool je, and just continued my chores and went to the kitchen next. Lagi bunyik budak2 nyer tapak kaki, running towards me. Then i went to the hall, sat down and stared into space. At that moment, i could feel a chill run swiftly up my back, causing the nape of my neck to tingle! Suddenly hair stood. I shuddered..Aku rilek je duduk jap, baca suratkhabar ( cey baca doa taknak eh..baca suratkhabar lak...) and avoided that perasaan seram sejuk.

THat night, i wanted to record lagu ROmey (Hellven) Instrumental Fallen Angel to transfer to my hp. Nak pakai lagu tu for my alarm clock. It was at around 3 am, i think.Baby Ash pulak couldnt sleep dat nite. Cranky and dd not want my breast milk. Instead he wanna play with the tissue wipes. So i just let him be, while i do my recording. As usual, no problems. TRansferin to my hp. No problem. Then i shut down the pc. Naik katil, peluk Ash who just managed to sleep soundly and played the music...

When i heard the intro, mcm lain mcm je..ada mcm growling sound, or rather growls, and sighs.entahlah...or mcm ade growl,calling my name, ZELLA... ( waaaa...my imagination running wild...!! I thought it sounded like it, LOL) But dengar lagi dua tiga kali.. terus tutup my face with a pillow, and try to get some sleep. I telll ya.. dat nite, ( or morning rather, ) i couldn't get to sleep. Macam2 images running in my head....

Today, aku record balik lagu Romey tu.. no problem. No growling sounds...

I was watching the news about this wife and teenage lover on trial for murder of husband, and then a China-born wife of opposition party member Tan Lead Shake, for charged with the alleged murder of her brother-in-law and was amazed at how the news did not really gave any impact on me. Just like the common news of the rise and fall of petrol prices. Or even soccer matches. Even if it spells MURDER..and a local one at that. and one case spells, ORANG MELAYU KITA....(cos this is not the only case murder that spells OMK..)

I just felt that, as time goes by, as the earth turns old, our inner demon starts to boil over and gets bolder. Our Dr Jekyll have all turned to My Hyde, and what's worst, we eat up the people nearest to us. Our loved ones ie, our wives, husbands, fiancees, siblings, parents...Suddenly, we feel hatred towards the closest people on earth we know... We can't trust anyone anymore. Satan has prevailed!!

Stop judging others. Honestly, while reading this.Ponder for a while. Do you feel like killing your husband at this point of time? Any regrets and hope your wife will rot and die soon? Felt that you are born to the wrong parents and wish they will perish? Feel like strangling your little kids to death when they start to create noise pollution? Ever thought of slicing your ELDER brother to pieces and throw him in a thrash or flush him down the toilet bowl, thats filled with your faeces?

Estelle Getty, whose acting career bloomed late in life with her Emmy-winning performance as Sophia Petrillo, the wisecracking mother of Bea Arthur's character on the popular NBC sitcom "The Golden Girls," died Tuesday. She was 84.

Estelle Getty, the diminutive actress who spent 40 years struggling for success before landing a role of a lifetime in 1985 as the sarcastic octogenarian Sophia on TV's "The Golden Girls," had died of advanced dementia, about 5.30 am Tuesday at her Hollywood Boulevard home, said her son, Carl Gettleman of Santa Monica.She was 84.Getty.

Getty also played Sylvester Stallone's mother in the 1992 film flop "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot," Cher's mother in the 1985 movie "Mask" and Barry Manilow's mother in the 1985 TV movie "Copacabana."

On my own personal note, nothing can take her place as the most humurous, wisecracking old mum and just like her favourite phrase of all time, her existence as one of the cast in The Golden Girls, make this world "a world filled with "Love and Laughter"...

The Jimi Hendrix Experience (1967)

The riff is pure blues — the same kind of guitar figure Hendrix played nightly back on the R&B-club grind, as a sideman for Little Richard and the Isley Brothers. But in "Purple Haze," Hendrix's second British single and the first track on the U.S. version of his debut album, he declared himself a free man — "'Scuse me while I kiss the sky" — and unveiled a new guitar language charged with spiritual hunger and the poetry possible in electricity and studio technology. "Guitar — you can play it or transcend it," said Neil Young when he inducted Hendrix into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. "Jimi showed me that. I heard it, felt it and wanted to do it." Hendrix wrote "Purple Haze" backstage at a London nightclub in December 1966 and recorded basic tracks with his band, the Experience, two weeks later. But the galactic travel came in overdubs recorded on February 3rd, 1967: Hendrix's solos, swimming in echo and sparkling with harmonics, were put through an octave-boosting effect and played back at twice the speed. In less than three minutes, Hendrix opened a new age of expression on his instrument.

Cream (1968)

Eric Clapton once described Cream's music as "blues ancient and modern." This track is what he meant. He was not yet 23 when he played this high-velocity version of the Robert Johnson song at San Francisco's Winterland on March 10th, 1968. Everything in Clapton's solos is grounded in the blues vocabulary but pointed to the future. "When Clapton soloed, he wrote wonderful symphonies from classic blues licks in that fantastic tone," Little Steven Van Zandt told Rolling Stone in 2004. "You could sing his solos like songs in themselves."

"Satisfaction" may be the Rolling Stones' most recognizable riff, but this Sticky Fingers hit — based on a gutbucket guitar part devised by Mick Jagger — is the band's raunchy guitar pinnacle. Keith Richards' secret weapon: He's playing a guitar that's missing its lowest string.

Van Halen (1978)

Eddie Van Halen's 102-second mission statement was a piece he invented onstage: a solo showcase for his mastery of tone and technique, notably the rush of notes he produced with his fretboard tapping. An army of teens would try to duplicate it, emerging years later in every metal band of the Eighties.

7 "While My Guitar Gently
Weeps"
The Beatles (1968)

This is a tale of two guitar giants at an empathic peak: George Harrison, who wrote this song on acoustic guitar in India, and Eric Clapton, who amplifies Harrison's vocal dismay with a waterfall of blues fills. It's the finest examaple of his jagged, late-Sixties tone.

8 "Stairway to Heaven"
Led Zeppelin (1971)

"Stairway," Jimmy Page told RS in 1975, "crystallized the essence of the band." It's a masterpiece of dramatic ascension: Page's acoustic picking rising into chiming chords, which introduce the solo, a brilliant succession of phrases that steadily move toward rock & roll ecstasy.

9 "Statesboro Blues"
The Allman Brothers Band (1971)

In 1968, Gregg Allman went to visit his older brother, Duane, on his 22nd birthday. Duane was sick in bed, so Gregg brought along a bottle of Coricidin pills for his fever and the debut album by guitarist Taj Mahal as a gift. "About two hours after I left, my phone rang," Gregg remembers. " 'Baby brother, baby brother, get over here now!' " When Gregg got there, Duane had poured the pills out of the bottle, washed off the label and was using it as a slide to play "Statesboro Blues," the old Blind Willie McTell song that Taj Mahal covered. Duane had never played slide before, says Gregg, but "he just picked it up and started burnin'. He was a natural."

The song quickly became a part of the Allman Brothers Band's repertoire, and Duane's slide guitar became crucial to their sound. "Statesboro Blues" was the opening track on their legendary 1971 live double album, At Fillmore East, and ever since, the moaning and squealing opening licks have given fans chills at live shows. "It wasn't something that Duane would play the same way every night," says current Allmans guitarist Warren Haynes, one of many guitarists who have filled Duane's shoes since he died in late 1971. "But in all of our heads, that's the way it goes."

There's one thing the current band doesn't try to replicate from the Fillmore East performance: At the end of Duane's sublime "Statesboro" solo, the guitarist hits an off-key note that Gregg calls the "note from hell." "He left it in because he knew I hated it," says Gregg, claiming that the mistake only adds to the song's legend. "It was live. It was something that happened."

10 "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
Nirvana (1991)

Most of "Teen Spirit" came easy — Nirvana nailed it in three takes — but that crucial Kurt Cobain guitar intro required an overdub ("That pissed him off," said producer Butch Vig). It was worth the effort: That riff, along with the band's loud-quiet-loud dynamics, defined Nineties rock.

The Who (1965)

Before smashing guitars was a cliché, it was a shock, and the Who's signature song was one shock after another, from Pete Townshend's pile-driving two-chord riff to his sudden disappearance while bassist John Entwistle solos to the glitchy feedback that ends the original recording.

Neil Young with Crazy Horse (1969)

17 "Black Sabbath"
Black Sabbath (1970)

Tony Iommi invented heavy-metal guitar out of necessity: He'd lost two fingertips on his fretting hand, and he used thimbles and dropped tunings to make playing easier. His crawling, dissonant riff (also called "the devil's chord") became the basis of thousands of metal songs.

18 "Blitzkrieg Bop"
Ramones (1976)

There's no guitar solo, because guitarist Johnny Ramone hated solos. But his down-stroke barré chords were fat with Dick Dale's twang and Bo Diddley's strumming. Joey Ramone once said that in Johnny's guitar, he heard organ, piano and other instruments that weren't really there.

19 "Purple Rain"
Prince and the Revolution (1984)

That small yellow tab to ease the nasal flow yang macam paip bocor. I wish i cud pop in as much Chloramine as i could. So that i could just be in a deep slumber... but 1 should be enuff walaupon kurang stim, at least it helps quite a bit. Dapat stim sket pon jadi dari takde...

Addicted to the animated show, Backyardigans, featuring, Pablo, the bubbly blue penguin, Tyrone,Pablos's bestfriend, the orange moose, Uniqua,a high-spirited pink creature with polka dots, Tasha, a girl hippopotamous, with red shoes and flowered dress and Austin, a fun loving purple kangaroo..!!

The reason why i'm hooked to this show is the way they 'gelek-gelek' to the songs. And their songs are really awesome! Some of the music sounded asian, and the Backyardigans sure can lenggok' their body to the tunes! I simply enjoyed them and i would dance around with my kids whenever the show is aired..Lmfao...

"nak ikut tak?" i asked Putri dat petang.

Groggily, cos she just woke up, she said, "taknak".

I was hesitant at first cos i dunwan her to be alone.

I said, "just stay in the hall in case i knock the door okay, i won't be long." I placed back the key on the table . When i stepped out, i could hear her , "KREK!" locked the door ledge. I dun feel good about this. Belom lagi ckp ape2 dia dah close the door hard and lock the door ledge..ish.But i am sure she willl be at the hall and i wont be long.

I was right. Baru je turun lift, Zul was already waiting. Too fast to be true. He was in a hurry, panting cos he needed to ease himself. Along the way, like a makcik2, i told him to balik, bath, makan and then siap for the silat lesson tonite..yack yack yak....

Sampai kat pintu rumah, we knocked. "Assalamualaikum...syasya..." silence.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!! "Putri..."- no answer

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!! " PUTRI SYASYA!!!"- no answer.

By then i was fuming mad. Budak ni tido ke?Dalam hati dah confirm, bila dia bukak je pintu, sure aku cekik2 batang leher. Still no answer.

This time with a more mighty force, i knocked louder. Real loud. It was a BAM BAM BAM!!!!

still no answer. I tried again, BAM WHAM SLANG, KERPANG, TENDANG!!!..

DANG...still no answer.

i called few times while i knock....
no answer..

By now, we were nearly half an hour outside. Marah bertukar menjadi risau. Is she alright?

Zul started calling out her sister's name.

I was frantically trying to make her pick up the phone.

I tried the BANG WHAM, SLAM, CRAM!!!, very very loudly and by now, i could see from across and below, neighbours' heads popping out. Some i think had derived their own conclusion that this must be some domestic squabble.

BANG! WHAM!! SLAM!! DANG! DANG! DANG! I looked at my knuckles, and it was reddish.
BANG! BANG!BANG!!!!!..my knuckles bled..

Suddenly ada flashback of my teenage life, of how i was locked out.That swollen knuckles and a slight bruise and blood really refreshed my memories. This is not fair! Door ledges are my enemies and now my Putri is locking me, Zul and baby Ash out????

A good neighbour came out and asked me if i forgottten my keys. I said, "worst, my daughter locked me out. she ledged the door.." no one knew wat else to be done. He offered to knock. I said, "Apek. just terajang je the pintu.." Another neighbour came out and asked if i need anything. My son grimaced and said, he needed the toilet. Thank goodness they offered. At first i declined their offer, with the hope that Putri will hear the ruckus, and open the door. But Zul was nearly in tears and my good chinese neighbour insisted.

While he was easin himself, i called Sham. He was really far from home, and he hasnt finish his job. I DEMANDED him to be back cos i really AM SO WORRIED FOR PUTRI. It was getting dark. My house from the corridor was getting soo dark, its Maghrib already, and we were nearly an hour outside, trying to break the house down. With screams and shouts, kicks and punches. It was a real commotion. With neighbours, turnned by turned, offering to call out and PUNCH the door wildly.

After an hour and 10 min, Sham came. Cool as usual, he sempat berlawak.." aiyah, this gal sleep like the mother la.." and the neighbours secara berjemaah sempat ketawakan aku...siak betol..heh..

Sham knocked hard. I told him to just kicked it open instead because i was getting nervous, agitated, afraid something might have happened to her cos she always ever of a heart pain.I was imagining the worst.If anything happened to her, i will never forgive myself!

So he put his red and black Nike on the door, held his hand on the gates and give it one mighty big kick and WOOOOSH!!! the door swinged opened. Everyone rushed in, (including the neighbours) to know wats happened to Putri. We had to turn on the lights cos it was so dark by then. She wasn't in the hall. We called for her.

Not in her room.

When we entered the master bedroom, we say her lying down.

"PUTRI SYASYA!"

She stretched, and yawned, and groggily opened her eyes, looked aound in bewilderment.Blur.Like the Sleeping Beauty who slept for 100 years..pakai big earrings and pearl necklace pulak tu tidur..

" Is she alright?" the neighbours asked.

"Yes, thanks a lot. She just woke up, " i beamed at them, embarrassed for causing soo much trouble, at the same time so relieved that she is alright. I forgot how angry i was but silently felt it was quite a folly on my side for not bringin the keys instead.

After profusely thanking them and apoligising, and while Sham mended the spoilt ledge and door, i went to ask Putri if she heard us calling and knocking the door hard and why on earth is she at my bed instead if at the hall waiting for me?

She just stood there, blank faced.

Haiz...Primary school students so stressed eh..sampai tidur pon tak dgr pintu kena hentam sampai pecah? rabak...

Then i realise, tadi i keluar tak baca the usual, "Bismillahitawakkaltuallallahi.." I keluar tadi mengomel....

i think i was tuning to Sinar FM(87.8) that time, my son, who is in Primary 1, suddenly got interested in this song. He was imitating Kak Eton's high pitched voice, and repeating the chorus after her..When i turned up the volume..lol, lagu classic ni ..krekekekekeke...

Actually, i was not totally surprised when i heard news from seberang tambak (included also in the seberang tambak's khutbah Jumaat) to boycott barangan belanda. Watching that short film via YouTube, i could sense a premonition of impending danger worldwide. I just felt that it will be injustice to punish the whole DUtch community just because one dutch politician decided to grunt like a pig and eat his own shit, instead of acting like a human being. In a mini discussion i had with a multiplier contact,

many would have thought that the Dutch community (or the kafiruns ) sided him and agree to what they see.But the fact is, he failed to successfully negotiate a transmission of the film with any Dutch television station, thus he has to create his own website.Although his intention of releasing the film was subsequently suspended, he managed to leak it all out (thanks to the cyber world..) and successfully create anguish amongst religion.

It reminds me of a song that i know, exploring the idea of the word 'terrorist'. Though, in some parts of this song to me, it somehow talked about infidelity, here is how the singer intrepreted the song.

To me it means that, we now know that he is that 'terrorist' that tried to buat kacau, made us muslims do silly things like interfering with the politics. Boycotting the Dutch, hatred towards kafiruns, wanting the kafiruns to suffer loss..
without realising, that this is not the right attitude we muslims have to potray.We have to be more civilised. We shouldn't judge other people. We can't have this feeling of hatred towards other beings. Other than the culprit cos it is not right to punish all just because ada segelintir khinzir yang bertopengkan manusia.And because of what that piggy had done, we muslims start to berpecah belah, each having their own emotional ways of reacting, some even started to create enemies, others wanting to fight, be it the pondan way, ie via blogging or the braver way like hurling stones at the Dutch houses they pass by.(Or the more outspoken ones will hurl stones at Flying Dutchman himself..) So in whatever ways, i just hope, we all still know where we stand. We have long strayed away from being a true muslim, i dun have to point it out in what ways. Reflect ourself and find the terrorist' in us.

When i read... ..about how Nabi Muhammad SAW diuji dengan keyatiman bila bapa beliau meninggal dunia saat beliau masih janin,I thank Allah that my father is still alive to see my kids grow. Eventhough we had really tough times, REALLY tough times at home under one roof, i believe i will never be happier not knowing, or seeing my father, not feeling his touch, even as a child.I pray for his health and longevity...

When i read... ..about how Nabi Muhammad SAW diuji dengan kelaparan sejak usia dini..masih kecil, Alhamdulillah, my tummy is always full.Sometimes tend to overeat, even worst, hutang puasa waktu remaja masih belum terbayar. Suka makan tapi jarang bersyukur..

When i read... ..about how Nabi Muhammad SAW dewasa dengan kematian si ibu, i pondered and thought about how i sia-sia kan pengorbanan my mum. I remembered throwing tantrums at her, then not talking to her, deliberately slicing her heart to pieces when i turned my back on her and just leaved her.
Though she did not seem to care, i know it hurts. I know it hurts..

I know i'm a hypocrite whenever i talk about religion. But the truth is, I just dun understand me...

I know Allah. I love Allah and as a muslim i have to obey him.

But, nothing seems to work.

As a muslim, i know Nabi Muhammad SAW. I love Allah's Messenger and as a muslim, i know i have to follow his ways. But..

I hope, by remembering this date, 12 Rabiulawal, i will be pardon of some of the sins i did in the past, present or future. I hope, by reading about him, it will open up my heart and mind, to be a better muslim, Insyaallah.

My two favourites of the three..Kasino and Dono.. ( i think Arwah Dono has some similiarity like arwah Ishak Ahmad..)

Dono passed away 30th Dec 2001 due to barah paru-paru. Kasino passed away 16th Sept 1997 due to brain cancer. Indro is the only one stayed alive and kicking at the moment..

Dono (Wahyu Sardono), Kasino (Kasino Hadiwibowo), and Indro (Indrodjojo Kusumonegoro) were just like the 3 musketeers..

My Dad is serving the community,
Always busy,
mingling with the MPs, counselling the outsiders, with his CSSP,
ironically,
has no listening ear for the family

My Mum understands my aunt who is a divorcee,
giving her heaps of advices, listening and treating her like her very own mother,
but failed to let her heart see

My Brother lives his own life in his own room

but i know with his circle of friends i assume,

My Elder Sister never loves to entertain her kids
always get back home past bedtime

in the Parent Support Group in school during Contact Time

I was at the void deck this late afternoon, when i heard this 'mad, crazy malay woman' (actually my neighbour who lives 2 storeys below me) screamed at the top of her voice at the lift, " GO HOME!! I KNOW YOUR UMI, I WILL CALL HER NOW..!! DIA MENGGATAL AJE YE..GO BACK NOW..!! " wah speaking london sey makcik..as if she wants evryone to hear. I know that teenage gal, and her other siblings, and i don't think she was doing anything stupid, except just talking to her boyfriend. Just when i was about to go, i heard her scream again, "BALIK!! NAK MENGGATAL JE..!! AKU CALL UMI KAU SEKARANG!! BALIK!!! GO HOME NOW..!!" She repeated a lot of things after that, which fell on my deaf ears. All i could hear was hear frantic screams as though she was raped upside down.GRRRR....!!!

I thought this scene only happend during the kampung days.You know when neighbours screamed on top of their lungs, squabbling over their missing goats, their dead hens or their lost eggs, or just about anything.

I know or rather, have seen some parents who screamed their lungs out at their misbehaving children in public. Some even whack them in public. But this woman was treating a teenager like that of a lil child! She is just her neighbour, and she has no business to feel soooo agitated (unless that teen is dating that Makcik's boyfren, or that Makcik has had a crush on him..who know..?? ). Even if she wants to tegur, do it the civil way ..!! Not embarrassing her like that. I should hand it to the boyfriend, for being so 'selenge' to just keep mum, and stood there, not moving even after his gf left with that Makcik kepo. He seemed shocked. Maybe paisey..but was cool. He wasnt even frowning. Smiling sheepishly instead..lol..

When undercover investigators made their way onto Chinese fur farms recently, they found that many animals are still alive and struggling desperately when workers flip them onto their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails to skin them. When workers on these farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an animal's leg, the free limbs kick and writhe. Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals who struggle too hard to allow a clean cut. When the fur is finally peeled off over the animals' heads, their naked, bloody bodies are thrown onto a pile of those who have gone before them. Some are still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the animals' hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes after they are skinned. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses who had enough strength to lift his bloodied head and stare into the camera.

Before they are skinned alive, animals are pulled from their cages and thrown to the ground; workers bludgeon them with metal rods or slam them on hard surfaces, causing broken bones and convulsions but not always immediate death. Animals watch helplessly as workers make their way down the row.

On these farms, foxes, minks, rabbits, and other animals pace and shiver in outdoor wire cages, exposed to driving rain, freezing nights, and, at other times, scorching sun. Mother animals, who are driven crazy from rough handling and intense confinement and have nowhere to hide while giving birth, often kill their babies after delivering litters. Disease and injuries are widespread, and animals suffering from anxiety-induced psychosis chew on their own limbs and throw themselves repeatedly against the cage bars.

The video was so disturbing, i was in tears and had to stop it halfway...

Damn those 'creatures' ( i wouldn't call them human ) for mistreating god's creations all for greed. DAMN!!! I stilll remember watching these 'binatangs' eating a fish while its is still breathing. I'd say nyawa-nyawa ikan..really.
